Harvest

I went a walking in my garden today, to gather what I could see. See all the goodies I gathered today? I think I just made up a silly ditty. Or maybe not. I couldn't believe how many eggplant I had, as well as tomatillos. I can't wait to start roasting all my veggies too. I even got a big bowl of lettuce. I may have to go out today and get a paella pan; something I've been excited to try, but haven't yet, well, because I don't have the right pan for it. I'll have to ask my BF Jess for her recipe. YUM!

yum! those all look great! my moms eggplant parm from her garden is the best. is it harvest time over there in PHX? all gardens here are out for the season! most all the leaves are off the trees and its dark when i leave work - ugh! hate that part.

nope, there is still plenty of food in my garden. not all is ripe yet. we have 2 growing seasons here. it's fabulous! it might die out around January when or if we get any frost. i'll just have to cover a few plants, cause we only get a couple days of frost, not like the rest of the world. and then in Feb. we start all over again with the spring/summer garden. it's crazy. do you have a veggie garden too? or at least one planned for spring?
